Codo 0.2.2

Codo feels clearer: faces in the sample project, shorter texts, and where nothing exists yet, the next step is right there. Plus the token saver, now on by default.

  • Faces instead of initialsIn the sample project, Lena, Jonas and the others now show a photo.
  • Less textSettings, sessions, projects, sign-in and team only say what matters. The details sit behind the info icon.
  • Empty means: go on hereWhere nothing exists yet, the button for the next step is right there.
  • Calmer formsFields and pickers are the same height, and focus looks the same everywhere.
  • Selection follows alongIn settings the highlight glides to the new entry and settles with a small bounce.
  • Token saver on by default−52 % tokens per solved task in our 5 Nov benchmark (short tasks, same success rate).
  • Fewer tools in the contextRarely used Claude Code tools are left out; switch off in settings or with codo tokens off.
Released

Codo 0.2.1

Get going faster: set up with one yes, confirm your computer with one click, speak your prompts, and a new session only needs a name.

  • Set up with one yesPaste the prompt into Claude Code and say yes once. Codo sets up the rest by itself, no commands to type.
  • Confirm with one clickOne click on “Connect” confirms your computer and pairs this browser, no code to type.
  • Voice inputIn Chrome, click the mic next to Send and speak your prompt.
  • New session in secondsType a name, press Enter. Area, repo and agent are already set and change with one click.
  • Privacy at a glanceOne sentence instead of three: for each repo, one line tells you what the team sees of your work.
  • A calmer input fieldNo more square frame inside the session input while you type.
Released

Codo 0.2.0

Codo looks calmer and helps you when the sign-in mail doesn't arrive. New top bar, new typeface, animated code entry.

  • A calmer top barIcons only, names slide out on hover. Blue lines show where you are.
  • A new typefaceAtkinson Hyperlegible: built for legibility, in code too.
  • Animated code entryType or paste your code: the boxes link up and turn into a check.
  • Help when no mail arrivesSpam tip, sign in with GitHub or Google, and when the next code can go out.
  • More room for your workNotices take one line, more wait in the bell. On your phone your account is back in reach.
  • Projects firstWithout a connected computer your projects come first, setup is one line below.
  • An honest finishIf setup could not back up every folder, the loader shows an exclamation mark, not a tick, and what is still open.
  • Less doubling upOne button style in Team, the privacy notice is a single line, and “#1” explains itself on hover.
  • More history on your phoneThe session input is more compact on phones: you see more of the history, nothing is missing.
  • Sign out everywhereIn settings you can sign out of your account on all devices or disconnect one agent on a single computer.
  • Claude sign-in stays putYour Claude sign-in on your computer no longer gets lost when it restarts or updates.
  • Repo signalWhen your agent reports the small version of a repo as done, Codo uploads it and opens the project.
  • Your colorPick your accent color under Appearance. Buttons, links and selection change to it right away.
  • New project, step by stepName first, then repos and consent. What can’t be done yet is grey, and the button says what’s missing.
Earlier

  • Status line while uploadingAt the bottom you see what is happening, with seconds. If something fails, the reason and the fix are shown there.
  • Folders with several reposIf you pick a folder with several repos, one click links them all.
  • Large repos upload cleanlyLarge folders upload in pieces and resume after an interruption. Files over 100 MB are skipped and listed.
  • Clear errorsIf an upload fails, a window gives you the reason in one sentence – with buttons and a prompt for your agent.
  • Build a small versionIf a folder is too large, a prompt has your agent build a slim repo “Name (codo small)” in the same place. Or connect the folder locally only.
  • Activity of the last 7 daysThe line on project tiles now always shows the last 7 days of work, hour by hour.
  • Repos selectable againYou can select repos of deleted projects again, and pick whole folders with several repos in one click.
  • New project tidied upThe computer name is short, and “Repos” only appears once you have picked one.
  • Home in one clickA house icon at the top left takes you back to the home page.
  • Limits only for connected agentsThe display at the top shows only agents you connected through Codo, and tells you when nothing has been measured yet.
  • Large foldersFolders that are too large now warn you before you create the project and come with a prompt to copy; the loading screen no longer gets stuck.
  • Mac in the backgroundOn a Mac, Codo keeps running in the background after setup – you can close the Terminal.
  • Connect agentsConnect Claude Code, Codex and Cursor in one window – step by step, with the prompt to copy.
  • Limits for every agentWith several agents connected, the header shows a colored dot with a percentage for each.
  • Project tiles in a glass lookTiles now look like dark, polished glass – with a soft sweep of light and a blue activity line instead of the bars.
  • Scrollbars with a spring feelThe thin scrollbars stretch when you scroll fast, squash against the edge and spring back softly.
  • Copy under every answerUnder every answer and every message, a small icon copies the whole text.
  • File cards only for real resultsUnder an answer you now only see files meant as results – no longer every file that was touched.
  • Chats and settings in the middleThe reading column of sessions, the chats and the settings sit in the middle with a comfortable width.
  • Tidied upThe download window, account menu, members panel and a session’s details page are shorter and calmer.
Earlier

  • The desktop app updates itselfFrom version 0.3.0 Codo downloads new versions, checks them and restarts – one click on “Update now” is all it takes.
  • New installerInstead of the grey Windows window, installing only shows the Codo mark, then Codo starts right away.
  • A tidy input barInstead of many buttons, one calm line such as “Claude Code · Sonnet 5 · Manual”. A click opens the menu, and hovering opens the choices next to it.
  • Token saver right in the barYou now pick the token saver level in the same menu – with the same rights as in the project settings.
  • Updates arrive by themselvesIf a new update goes live while Codo is open, a bar at the top tells you – “Reload”, and you see what’s new.
  • New desktop app right from the appIn the desktop app you see when a new version is out and download it with one click.
Earlier

  • The desktop app feels like an appNo more grey Windows bar: the logo sits top left, minimize, maximize and close live in the app bar.
  • Calm startWhile Codo loads, you see the Codo mark instead of a white flash.
  • All updates in one windowIf you missed several updates, they now show up here together, sorted by date.
  • “Running …” only while it is trueWhen an agent goes quiet, Codo says so honestly and asks: keep it running or cancel.
  • Long texts fold awayLong pasted prompts and messages show their first lines; “Show more” unfolds them.
  • Token saver in the project settingsCodo shows how many tokens your agents use. Saving levels are only unlocked once they have been measured.
  • Friend profiles tidied upShared projects show as small preview tiles, and the weekly rank sits next to the status, for example “Top 10 %”.
  • Calmer greyDark surfaces are a little darker and purely neutral; on project tiles the live line stays on one line.
  • Vivid colors (test)Under Settings → Appearance you can make accent and status colors a little richer.
