The multiplayer layer for AI coding
Codo is a multiplayer AI coding workspace. Everyone keeps the AI coding tool they already use, and Codo makes them work as one team.
The future of building is multiplayer
AI coding tools made a single developer far more productive, but each tool is a one-person window. As soon as two people or two agents work on the same thing, nobody sees what the others are doing.
Codo is the shared layer across Claude Code, Codex and Cursor: live activity, collision warnings, handoffs and chat in one workspace.live activity, collision warnings and chat in one workspace. We start with solo AI coders who build with friends and grow into the teams they form.
Why now
Agents now expose hooks, MCP and headless modes. That makes a vendor-neutral layer across agents possible, and Codo is built on exactly these interfaces.
The tools grew up single-player. Multiplayer is the next layer, the way documents and design moved from files to shared, live workspaces.
Live in beta today
- Live activity from Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, captured through hooks and a local connector
- Live team awareness: agents learn what teammates’ agents work on, and both sides hear about overlaps
- Shared live sessions with a baton: one person drives, others watch, chat and take over
- Takeover from the last mirrored state when a host goes offline
- No copy of your repository on our servers
- Signed commands from the app to a developer’s machine, checked against an allow-list
- Analytics without prompts, code or names, in the app only after consent
