- Your code lives on your own Git host. For the live view Codo reads it from there and does not keep a copy. The private backup goes to your own GitHub, on by default, and the project owner can switch it off.

- Only prompts you send yourself run on your computer, and you choose per repository what Codo sees.

- Ask Codo questions about your project and get answers through your own Claude account.
